As owners of an 1857 built Grade II listed building in Clifton, Bristol our hearts sank when we called in a local building surveyor to establish why we were experiencing symptoms of DAMP at the property. On review of the survey we learned there was a damp problem and were referred to Cotswold Treatments. A prompt response to the enquiry, a personal service to reassure us and to provide an inspection and quotations, a realistic management of our expectations, reliable service to arrange the completion of works, an intelligent and honest approach to what needed to be done, the relief of learning it was an old pipe beneath the floor that had been leaking for some time and not the horrific issue we originally suspected, a great value quotation, prompt arrival, early completion of the project, updates throughout and the extra mile at all stages of the works. We could have been quite easily convinced something much worse lay beneath the floor and that much more excavation and works needed to be done and it was a real pleasure to know we were in the hands of trustworthy and straight talking professionals.
